**New Delhi, India** – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a major recruitment drive, opening 32,438 Group D positions across various railway departments. The online application window is open from January 23rd to February 22nd, 2025.

The vacancies are for Level 1 posts, including Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant roles in electrical, mechanical, and signal & telecommunication departments, and Assistant Pointsman positions. Applicants must apply online through rrbapply.gov.in. Candidates can only apply to one railway.

Selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, Medical Examination, and final Empanelment. The CBT will consist of 100 questions covering General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.

Applicants must meet specific educational qualifications, with ITI or Act Apprenticeships being accepted for Level-1 posts (Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted unless otherwise specified).
