**Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh –** Ayodhya is celebrating the first anniversary of the Pran Pratistha ceremony, the installation of the deity Ram Lalla in the newly constructed Ram Temple. The three-day Pratishtha Dwadashi Mahotsav, held from January 11th to 13th, saw a large influx of devotees eager to participate in the celebrations.
Thousands flocked to the temple on Wednesday, chanting “Jai Shri Ram” as they sought blessings. The festivities included traditional religious ceremonies such as Agnihotra at the Yajna Mandap, the recitation of six lakh Shri Ram Mantras, Ram Raksha Stotra, and Hanuman Chalisa. Cultural programs featured devotional songs, dances, and recitations from the Ramcharitmanas, alongside the distribution of Prasad to devotees.
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra organized the Mahotsav, marking the occasion with a blend of spiritual and cultural events designed to honor the anniversary. One devotee shared plans to attend both the anniversary celebrations and the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The event underscored the deep religious significance of the Ram Temple and its continued impact on the lives of devotees.
