**Kondotty, Kerala –** MES Mampad College took the lead at the Calicut University C Zone arts festival on Wednesday, accumulating 156 points. The intense competition, held at EMEA College of Arts and Science in Kondotty, saw Calicut University Campus in second place (139 points) and PSMO College in third (128 points). The host institution, EMEA College, placed fourth with 65 points.
The festival, which features 14 events including 11 individual and three group items, drew large crowds captivated by performances like Oppana and Thiruvathira. Winning performances included Margamkali and Thiruvathirakali by DGMMES College, Mampad, and a Ganamela performance by SAFI College, Vazhayoor. The festival concludes Thursday.
