**Hyderabad, January 23, 2025** – Software giant Infosys announced plans to significantly expand its Hyderabad campus, creating 17,000 new jobs. The expansion, agreed upon during a meeting between Infosys Group CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka and Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the World Economic Forum in Davos, will involve the construction of new IT towers.
The first phase of the project, costing Rs. 750 crore, is expected to be completed within two to three years. This expansion will add to Infosys’ existing workforce of 35,000 employees in Hyderabad.
Minister Sridhar Babu stated that the Telangana government is committed to supporting leading corporations across all sectors to boost the state’s economy. The expansion reflects Infosys’ continued investment in and commitment to Hyderabad as a key technology hub.
