**Kolkata, India –** Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has created history, becoming India’s highest wicket-taker in T20 International matches. During the first T20I against England in Kolkata on Wednesday, Singh surpassed Yuzvendra Chahal’s previous record of 96 wickets. Singh achieved the milestone in his 61st T20I appearance, dismissing both Phil Salt and Ben Duckett in the match. The left-arm pacer, who debuted against England in 2022, has quickly cemented his place as a key member of India’s T20I bowling attack. He now holds a total of 97 wickets.
