**Kollam, Kerala – January 24, 2025** – The Kerala Department of Fisheries is recruiting clinical psychology counselors on a contractual basis to support the mental well-being of students from fishing families. The positions will serve ten Fisheries High Schools across the state, with one counselor assigned to two neighboring districts.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in Psychology/Counselling, Clinical Psychology, or MSW (Medical and Psychiatry), and possess three years of government sector experience. Preference will be given to candidates from fishing communities. The age limit is 25-45 years.
