**Kingstree, SC (January 22, 2025)** – Williamsburg County School District (WCSD) announced a closure for Thursday, January 23rd, due to hazardous weather conditions. Following Wednesday night’s snow and ice, dangerously cold temperatures with a high of only 31°F and a low near record levels of 11°F have prompted the district to prioritize student and staff safety.
