Wed Jan 22 16:20:00 UTC 2025: **Three Golfers Withdraw from Farmers Insurance Open, Including World No. 4 Collin Morikawa**

SAN DIEGO, CA – The Farmers Insurance Open suffered a blow on Sunday with the withdrawals of three prominent golfers, including world No. 4 Collin Morikawa. Morikawa, alongside Nicolai Højgaard of Denmark and Tyler McCumber, pulled out of the tournament at Torrey Pines, leaving organizers to replace them with Wesley Bryan, Hayden Springer, and South Korea’s S.H. Kim, respectively. No official reasons were given for the withdrawals.

This news follows Saturday’s announcement that world No. 2 Xander Schauffele would also miss the event due to a medical issue. Morikawa’s recent performance included a second-place finish at The Sentry Tournament of Champions.

The Farmers Insurance Open, running from Wednesday to Saturday, has adjusted its schedule to avoid a conflict with the NFL Conference Championship games.
