**NEW YORK** – A&E is bringing back one of its most successful reality shows, *Duck Dynasty*, with a new series titled *Duck Dynasty: The Revival*. The reboot will follow Willie and Korie Robertson and their extended family as they navigate the future of their Duck Commander business and the challenges of raising their adult children.

The original *Duck Dynasty*, which ran for 11 seasons and ended in 2017, was a massive hit for A&E, drawing as many as 11.8 million viewers at its peak. The new series, which has already been greenlit for two 10-episode seasons, will premiere this summer.

While patriarch Phil Robertson, recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, will not be featured, the series will include Willie and Korie, along with Kay Robertson, Uncle Si, and Willie and Korie’s children John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca.

A&E executive VP Elaine Frontain Bryant stated that the Robertson family’s “down-home practicality, Southern charm and relatable humor” resonated with audiences nationwide. Willie and Korie expressed excitement about returning to A&E, describing it as “going back home.”

The revival comes eight years after the original series finale and follows the family’s ongoing ventures, including the Fox Nation series *Duck Family Treasure* starring Willie’s brothers Jase and Jep. *Duck Dynasty: The Revival* is a production of Wheelhouse Entertainment’s Spoke Studios and the Robertsons’ Tread Lively Productions. The show’s return comes despite past controversy surrounding Phil Robertson’s anti-gay remarks, which led to a brief suspension from the original series in 2013.
