**Belagavi, Karnataka, January 23, 2025** – A 15-year-old boy, Ganesh Sutar, tragically drowned in a lake in Waghwade village, Belagavi district, on Tuesday. Sutar went swimming without informing his family, who initially believed he was playing with friends. After he failed to return home, his family launched a desperate search. Fishermen subsequently discovered his clothes on the lakebed, alerting the family to the tragedy. Sutar’s body was recovered on Wednesday.
