NASHVILLE, TN – Two students were injured in a shooting at Antioch High School this morning, according to Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD). The shooting, which occurred in the school cafeteria, involved a student who subsequently inflicted a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The suspect is no longer considered a threat, and is in police custody.

The school was immediately placed on lockdown following the incident. Police, along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), responded swiftly to the scene.
