Wed Jan 22 16:18:47 UTC 2025: ## Royal Enfield Launches Scram 440: Upgraded Engine and Features for 2025
**Hyderabad, India (January 22, 2025)** – Royal Enfield, the retro-modern motorcycle manufacturer, has launched its first product of 2025: the new Royal Enfield Scram 440. Available in two variants – Trail and Force – the Scram 440 is priced at ₹2.08 lakh and ₹2.15 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
The Scram 440 boasts a powerful upgrade from its predecessor. It features a larger, air/oil-cooled, 443cc single-cylinder engine, producing 25 bhp and 34 Nm of torque. This is a 3mm bore increase over the existing 411cc engine. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox (compared to the 411cc model’s 5-speed unit), Royal Enfield claims improved NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) levels through enhancements to the SOHC valvetrain.
Further improvements include a strengthened chassis allowing for a 10kg payload top box. Both variants come standard with switchable ABS and LED headlights. The 15-liter fuel tank contributes to a total weight of 197 kg, a 2kg increase over the Scram 411.
Color options include blue and green for the Trail variant and blue, teal, and grey for the Force variant. The Scram 440 is priced ₹2,000-₹3,000 higher than its predecessor.
