**Hyderabad, January 19, 2025** – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has promised significant financial and infrastructural support to the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). HCA President A. Jagan Mohan Rao announced the news following a meeting with BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia in Mumbai on Saturday.

The BCCI has committed to funding 50% of the HCA’s development programs. Furthermore, the association anticipates receiving more matches in the upcoming 2025 season and assistance in constructing new stadiums and improving infrastructure. The BCCI also pledged support for promoting cricket in the state’s districts.

Mr. Rao stated that the HCA also requested the opportunity for an HCA representative to manage the Indian cricket team in future ICC tournaments, a request met with a positive response from the BCCI secretary. The substantial backing from the BCCI signals a significant boost for cricket development in Hyderabad.
