**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India** – A large fire broke out at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Sunday evening, destroying at least 40 thatched huts and six tents. While the fire, which began around 4:10 pm in the kitchen of the Geeta Press camp, caused significant property damage, authorities reported only minor injuries.

Fifteen fire tenders quickly extinguished the blaze by 5:00 pm, preventing further spread and ensuring the safe evacuation of all those in the vicinity. Initial investigations suggest a gas leak while preparing tea caused the fire. **Mumbai, Maharashtra, India** – The man suspected of stabbing actor Saif Ali Khan has been apprehended after a 48-hour manhunt. Identified as Mohammad Islam, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national who had assumed the alias Vijay Das, he was found hiding in dense mangroves in Thane. Police tracked him using CCTV footage and mobile phone records. Islam, who had been working at a bar in Thane, is currently in police custody.
