Sun Jan 19 00:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Tata Unveils Near-Production Ready Avinya X Luxury Crossover at Bharat Mobility Expo

**New Delhi, India –** Tata Motors has revealed the near-production-ready version of its highly anticipated luxury electric vehicle, the Avinya X, at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Marking a significant departure from its earlier concept, the Avinya X now boasts a crossover design, featuring a high stance, large wheels, pop-out door handles, and wraparound headlamps and tail lamps. The minimalist rear design incorporates a connected tail lamp and gloss black bumpers.

While interior details remained largely under wraps, glimpses revealed a futuristic dashboard with a three-screen display and a large, free-standing fourth screen. Other noticeable features include a two-spoke steering wheel, a substantial center console, and advanced technology such as V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) capabilities. A panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), and multi-zone climate control are also expected.

The Avinya X is anticipated to utilize Jaguar Land Rover’s EMA platform and offer a range exceeding 500km. Both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants are planned. While primarily envisioned as an EV, a petrol engine option remains a possibility given the Indian market.

The Avinya X is expected to launch in 2026 and will represent Tata’s entry into a significantly higher price segment than its current offerings, with estimated pricing between ₹1.00 – 1.30 Crore (approximately $120,000 – $156,000 USD). This marks a bold move for the Indian automaker into the ultra-luxury EV market.
