**Yadgir, January 19, 2025** – Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Channareddy Patil Tunnur has issued a directive to officials to address the growing drinking water shortage in his Yadgir constituency, warning that the situation could worsen during the upcoming summer months.
Addressing Panchayat Development Officers, Mr. Tunnur highlighted numerous complaints from residents regarding inadequate water supply in several villages. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, urging immediate action to ensure sufficient water reaches all residents.
Following a briefing from officials on the current state of affairs, the MLA prioritized the repair of dysfunctional reverse osmosis plants. He instructed senior officers to oversee repairs, utilizing available grants from the gram panchayat and his MLA funds. The meeting was attended by several key officials from Taluk Panchayats in Yadgir, Shahapur, and Wadagera.
