**TIRUVANNAMALAIA, January 18, 2025** – A 34-year-old laborer, K. Suresh, was arrested on Saturday for the murder of his neighbor, A. Jothi, 44, following a dispute over goat rearing in Chinna Puthur village near Kannamangalam. Police reported that Suresh and the victim, along with her husband V. Ananda Jothi, 53, had a history of arguments concerning their goats. The conflict escalated after Suresh successfully sold his goats at the village market while the couple did not. During a subsequent altercation, Suresh stabbed Jothi, fatally wounding her, and injuring her husband. Suresh has been arrested and remanded to Vellore Central Prison.
