**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. Admit cards are now available for candidates scheduled to take the exam on January 22, 23, and 24, 2025, on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download their admit cards using their application number and date of birth.

Admit cards for candidates testing on January 28, 29, and 30 will be released later. NTA urges candidates to verify that their downloaded admit cards contain a QR code and barcode. Candidates must bring a photo ID matching the one uploaded during online application.

The JEE Main Paper 1 (for BE/B.Tech) will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 in two shifts: 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 2 (for B.Arch and B.Planning) will be conducted on January 30 from 3 PM to 6 PM. Exam centers will close 30 minutes prior to the start of each exam session.

The NTA score will determine the final rank based on the best of both sessions. The top 250,000 candidates will be eligible for the JEE Advanced exam, the gateway to admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Candidates must have secured at least 75% in their 12th-grade exams or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards to qualify for JEE Advanced.

JEE Main consists of three papers, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The three-hour exam comprises 90 questions (30 each subject), with a revised format reducing numerical questions in Paper B from 10 to 5, all compulsory. Paper 1 is for undergraduate engineering programs in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs, while Paper 2 is for B.Arch and B.Planning courses.
