**LUCKNOW, INDIA** – Reports of an engagement between Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Member of Parliament Priya Saroj have been denied by Saroj’s father, MLA Tufan Saroj. While confirming that the two have been in a relationship for a year and are mutually interested in marriage, Saroj clarified that no formal engagement has taken place.
Speaking to the media, Tufan Saroj stated that preliminary discussions regarding the marriage had taken place with Singh’s father last Thursday, and both families are receptive to the union.
