**PATNA, Bihar –** Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, will arrive in Patna on Saturday for a two-pronged campaign focusing on constitutional safeguards and reaching out to key voter demographics ahead of Bihar’s upcoming elections. The Congress leader will participate in the “Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan” (Constitution Protection Conference) at Bapu Sabhagar and address a workers’ meeting.

Preparations are underway at the Bihar Congress headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, which has been decked out for the occasion. Bihar Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh expressed excitement over Gandhi’s visit, anticipating a large turnout of party workers from across the state.

The “Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan” is part of a nationwide series organized by the Congress to criticize the ruling BJP and emphasize the importance of upholding the Indian Constitution. Gandhi is also expected to meet with representatives of BPSC candidates protesting a recent exam question paper leak. Furthermore, sources suggest the visit aims to specifically engage with Dalit and OBC communities in Bihar. The visit will also include interactions with social work organizations, mirroring his outreach during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

However, BJP’s Health Minister Mangal Pandey dismissed Gandhi’s visit, suggesting it would only highlight internal party divisions within the Congress.
