**Kyoto, Japan –** Nintendo has officially revealed its next-generation console, the Nintendo Switch 2, slated for release in 2025. A first-look video showcasing the new hardware debuted today, generating significant excitement among fans.
The Switch 2 will be backward compatible with many existing Nintendo Switch games, both physical and digital, although Nintendo cautions that some titles may not be fully supported. A complete list of compatible games will be released on the official Nintendo website at a later date. The console will also feature its own exclusive titles.
