Sat Jan 18 15:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Lions’ Montgomery Returns to Practice Ahead of Divisional Round Clash

**Detroit, MI** – Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery is officially back in the fold, participating fully in Tuesday’s practice. Montgomery, who suffered a torn MCL in his right knee on December 15th, opted for rehabilitation over surgery and is on track for a playoff return. Head coach Dan Campbell confirmed Montgomery’s return for Saturday’s NFC divisional round matchup against the Washington Commanders.

However, the Lions face some uncertainty regarding other key players. Cornerback Terrion Arnold, who injured his right foot in the regular season finale, was a full participant in practice. In contrast, veteran right guard Kevin Zeitler (hamstring injury) did not practice, raising questions about his availability. Also sidelined were cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (hamstring/illness) and defensive lineman Pat O’Connor (calf).

While Arnold expressed confidence in his ability to play, the status of Zeitler remains unclear heading into the crucial playoff game. The Lions will be closely monitoring the progress of their injured players throughout the week.
