**Hyderabad, January 17, 2025** – The Telangana government launched a new 90-day internship program, “Skill Sprint,” aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry. The initiative, a collaboration between T-Works (a hardware prototyping center) and Young India Skills University, was unveiled yesterday by IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu.
The program offers targeted training in fields like engineering, robotics, management, sales, business development, and marketing, catering to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Participants will receive mentorship from industry professionals, access to state-of-the-art facilities at T-Works, and support for independent projects. Upon successful completion, students will receive academic credits certified by Young India Skills University.
Minister Babu emphasized the government’s commitment to transforming Telangana into a hub for skilled human resources, equipping its youth with job-ready skills. The program’s goal is to empower students, foster innovation, and promote self-reliance. The poster launch event was also attended by T-Works CEO Tanikella Joginder and Young India Skills University In-Charge Registrar Chaman Mehta.
