**Ongole, Andhra Pradesh –** Three individuals tragically drowned at Pakala beach in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, on Thursday, January 16th. The victims, identified as Yamini, Jessica, and Madhav, were residents of nearby Kandukur and Ponnalur mandals. They were reportedly swept away by high tides while swimming.
Authorities, including marine police and local villagers, are currently searching for three additional individuals believed to have also been carried out to sea by the strong currents. The bodies of Yamini, Jessica, and Madhav have been recovered. Further details are awaited.
