**NEW DELHI** – Realme has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Realme 14 Pro+, boasting several key improvements over its predecessor, the Realme 13 Pro+. The most noticeable upgrades include a larger battery, enhanced water resistance, and a new processor.

The Realme 14 Pro+ features a striking design with a color-changing panel and a substantial 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 80W fast charging, reaching 50% in just 24 minutes. This contrasts with the Realme 13 Pro+’s 5200mAh battery, also with 80W charging (50% in 19 minutes). While the 13 Pro+ offers slightly faster charging to 100%, the 14 Pro+ prioritizes longer battery life.

In terms of durability, the Realme 14 Pro+ offers IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, surviving submersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 60 minutes. The Realme 13 Pro+ has a lower IP65 rating.

Camera capabilities are largely similar, with both phones featuring a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. However, the Realme 14 Pro+ adds a color spectrum sensor and a triple-LED flash, compared to the single LED flash on the 13 Pro+. The 14 Pro+ also boasts a brighter f/2.2 aperture on its 32MP front camera, improving low-light selfies.

Under the hood, the Realme 14 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a step up from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the Realme 13 Pro+. Both phones utilize AMOLED displays, with the 14 Pro+ offering a slightly larger 6.83-inch screen compared to the 13 Pro+’s 6.7-inch display. The 13 Pro+ does however include HDR image support. Both support a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Realme 13 Pro+ (8GB+256GB) is currently priced at ₹30,999 (with potential discounts), while the Realme 14 Pro+ (8GB+256GB) will be available from January 23rd at ₹34,999 (with discounts). The new model represents approximately a ₹4000 price increase. The Realme 14 Pro+ is targeted towards users who value longer battery life and enhanced durability over slightly faster charging speeds.
