Thu Jan 16 04:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Raptors Claw Back to Defeat Warriors in Thrilling Finish

**Toronto, ON -** Ochai Agbaji’s game-winning basket with 1:33 remaining in the fourth quarter propelled the Toronto Raptors to a hard-fought 104-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors Monday night. The win marks only the Raptors’ second in their last 18 games.

Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 23 points, while Jakob Poeltl contributed a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. Chris Boucher’s impressive 18-point performance, 17 of which came in the final quarter, proved crucial in the comeback. Agbaji and Gradey Dick each added 12 points to the winning effort.

Despite Stephen Curry’s 26 points and Andrew Wiggins’ 20, the Warriors were unable to overcome the Raptors’ late-game surge. Buddy Hield, who had a strong performance against Indiana earlier this week, struggled against Toronto, finishing with only eight points on 3-of-13 shooting. His final three-point attempt to tie the game fell short.

The Raptors trailed by nine points with just over nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter but outscored the Warriors 27-15 in a decisive final push. A crucial missed three-pointer by Curry with 45 seconds left led to a fast-break dunk by Agbaji, assisted by Boucher following the rebound.

The Warriors played without Draymond Green, who missed his second consecutive game due to illness. The Raptors were also without Immanuel Quickley, sidelined by a sore left hip.

Both teams return to action on Wednesday; the Warriors face the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Raptors host the Boston Celtics.
