**LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA** – Reedley firefighters battling wildfires in Southern California received a surprise celebrity encounter this week. While stationed at a base camp, crews from WT52 and E531 had a chance meeting with famed talk show host Jay Leno, posing for a photograph with the television legend.
WT52, which was initially deployed to the Hurst Fire near Sylmar, has since been reassigned to the Eaton Fire near Pasadena. Engine E531 remains on the scene at the Eaton Fire, continuing their efforts to contain the blaze. The Reedley Firefighters Association confirmed both crews’ deployments.
