**New Delhi, January 14, 2025** – Air India will operate daily flights between Delhi and Prayagraj from January 25 to February 28 to meet the anticipated surge in travel demand during the Maha Kumbh Mela. The airline announced the temporary service on Tuesday, offering both economy and premium economy seating with convenient daytime departures. This initiative provides seamless connections via Delhi for passengers traveling to and from various parts of India and internationally, including North America, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Air India and its subsidiary, Air India Express, currently lack regular flights to Prayagraj. This announcement follows SpiceJet’s similar move last month to offer daily special flights connecting Prayagraj with Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad for the duration of the Kumbh Mela. IndiGo and Akasa Air also provide flights to Prayagraj from other cities.
