Mon Jan 13 19:24:51 UTC 2025: **US Designates Online White Supremacist Group “Terrorgram Collective” as Terrorist Organization**

Washington D.C. – The United States has designated the online network “Terrorgram Collective” as a terrorist organization and sanctioned three of its alleged leaders. The State Department announced the action on Monday, citing the group’s promotion of violent white supremacy and its alleged involvement in several attacks worldwide.

Operating primarily on the Telegram messaging app, Terrorgram is accused of soliciting attacks on perceived adversaries, providing instructions on tactics and targeting, and glorifying those who carry out violence. The State Department specifically linked the group to a 2022 shooting outside an LGBTQ bar in Slovakia, a thwarted 2024 attack planned on New Jersey energy facilities, and an August knife attack at a Turkish mosque.

The three individuals sanctioned are Ciro Daniel Amorim Ferreira (Brazil), Noah Licul (Croatia), and Hendrik-Wahl Muller (South Africa). This follows the September arrest of two American leaders, Dallas Erin Humber and Matthew Robert Allison, who face charges including leading a transnational terrorist group and distributing bomb-making instructions.

The sanctions freeze any US assets held by the group and prohibit Americans from engaging in financial dealings with those designated. Experts, such as Hannah Gais of the Southern Poverty Law Center, describe Terrorgram as a hub for a decentralized wing of the white power movement, promoting “accelerationism”—the belief that violence can hasten the collapse of the current system and bring about a national socialist state. The designation underscores the US government’s commitment to combating the global threat of racially and ethnically motivated violent extremism.
