Mon Jan 13 18:05:22 UTC 2025: ## Six Killed, Thirteen Injured in Nashik Road Accident

**Nashik, Maharashtra –** A horrific road accident on Sunday night claimed the lives of six people and injured thirteen others in Nashik, Maharashtra. The collision occurred around 8 p.m. on a flyover near an Ayyappa temple at Dwarka Circle. A tempo carrying passengers returning from a religious event in Dharamgav collided with a truck carrying iron rods. The tempo, carrying residents of Sahyadri Nagar in CIDCO, Nashik, struck the truck from behind, resulting in the fatalities and injuries.

Two to three of the injured are reported to be in critical condition and are receiving treatment at the civil hospital. The deceased have been identified as Atul Santosh Mandlik, Santosh Mandlik, Yash Kharat, Darshan Gharte, and Chetan Pawar (a fifth victim’s name is missing from the original text).

The accident caused significant traffic disruption for at least an hour. Police are investigating the incident and will file a First Information Report (FIR) against the drivers of both vehicles.
