**CHENNAI, January 13, 2025** – Chennai police have arrested two history-sheeters and a juvenile following a fight over shared alcohol. The incident occurred on Saturday, January 11th, near the Walltax Road Junction.
E. Dheena (27) and M. Mukesh, both pavement dwellers, engaged in a brawl after Dheena demanded a share of a bottle of liquor Mukesh was carrying. Dheena’s juvenile brother also participated in the altercation. All three sustained injuries.
Police arrested Dheena and Mukesh based on complaints from both parties, while the juvenile was placed in the Government Observation Home. The case highlights a seemingly commonplace dispute escalating into violence.
