**Hyderabad, January 13, 2025** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will travel to Singapore and Davos next week to promote the state as a prime investment destination. Ahead of his trip, Mr. Reddy reviewed the progress of investments in Telangana, expressing satisfaction with the ₹40,232 crore (approximately $4.8 billion USD) invested in 18 projects from 14 top companies. Work has already begun on 17 of these projects, with 10 showing significant progress in the past year.
Mr. Reddy’s visit to Singapore (January 16-19) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos (January 20-22) will include an official delegation headed by Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu. Discussions will focus on attracting further investment, particularly for the proposed Skill University. The Chief Minister urged officials to highlight Telangana’s investor-friendly environment and showcase projects like the Future City in Hyderabad to the global community at the WEF.
Mr. Reddy is confident that Telangana’s recently implemented industrial policies will attract significant global attention and investment, bolstering the state’s already strong economic growth. He expects his Davos visit to yield substantial investment commitments, leveraging Hyderabad’s growing reputation as a leading business hub in India.
