**Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh:** Cabinet Minister Rajesh Dharmani joined the Lohri celebrations in Balli, Bilaspur district, on January 13th, 2025. The festival, marking the harvest and welcoming the new crop, was celebrated with vibrant cultural programs organized by the Sanvedna Charitable Society. Children and young people actively participated in the festivities.
Minister Dharmani participated in the traditional bonfire ceremony, performing the Agni Puja and dancing to Punjabi songs with the children. He extended his Lohri greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh and India, highlighting the festival’s significance in promoting unity and brotherhood. He noted that Lohri, celebrated a day before Makar Sankranti, marks the beginning of longer days and a new season. The event was attended by local dignitaries including panchayat representatives.
