Mon Jan 13 03:33:09 UTC 2025: ## Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ Nears ₹100 Crore Mark Despite Slowdown

**HYDERABAD, INDIA** – Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s Telugu action-drama, *Game Changer*, is inching closer to the ₹100 crore club but has experienced a significant box office slowdown after a strong opening. The film, directed by Shankar, has raked in nearly ₹90 crore in its first three days, surpassing the lifetime Indian collection of Kamal Haasan’s *Indian 2*.

However, *Game Changer*’s initial momentum faltered. After a ₹51 crore opening day, collections dropped by 57.65% on day two, reaching ₹21.6 crore. Occupancy rates also show a decline, with morning shows registering only 18.01% occupancy for the Telugu version. While afternoon show occupancy improved to 33.22%, the overall performance remains below expectations for a Sankranthi release.

The film, which stars Ram Charan in a dual role as an IAS officer and an activist, tackles the issue of corruption in electoral politics. Despite a star-studded cast including Anjali and SJ Suryah, and mixed reviews, *Game Changer* faces stiff competition from other Sankranthi releases like *Daaku Maharaaj* and *Sankranthiki Vasthunam*. The film’s performance in the coming week will be crucial in determining its overall box office success.
