**Hyderabad, India** – Ram Charan’s much-anticipated Telugu film, *Game Changer*, is inching closer to the ₹100 crore club, but its box office performance has been slower than expected. The film, directed by Shankar, has raked in nearly ₹90 crore net in India within its first three days, surpassing the lifetime collection of Kamal Haasan’s *Indian 2*. However, a significant drop in collections on day two, a 57.65% decline from the opening day’s ₹51 crore, has raised concerns.
According to Sacnilk.com, *Game Changer* earned ₹17 crore on its third day, bringing its total to ₹89.6 crore. This includes ₹8 crore from Telugu, ₹1.2 crore from Tamil, ₹7.7 crore from Hindi, and ₹10 lakh from Kannada audiences. Despite this impressive figure, analysts point out the film’s underperformance considering its star power and Sankranthi release. Occupancy rates have also fallen, with morning shows of the Telugu version registering only 18.01% occupancy.
The film, starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah, tells the story of an IAS officer fighting corruption in electoral politics. It has received mixed reviews, and faces stiff competition from other Sankranthi releases like *Daaku Maharaaj* and *Sankranthiki Vasthunam*. The film’s performance in the coming week, with the release of new films, will be crucial in determining its final box office success.
