**Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh:** The first anniversary of the Ram Mandir’s consecration was marked today with celebrations across Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, attending the “Pran Pratishtha Dwadashi” ceremony, lauded the city’s transformation since 2014, highlighting the development of infrastructure including an international airport and improved roads. He also noted the significant increase in daily pilgrims, estimating 1.5 to 2 lakh devotees visit daily.
CM Adityanath used the occasion to emphasize the importance of social unity, urging citizens to reflect on past divisions and the prolonged absence of Lord Ram from his temple. He stressed the need to overcome caste-based divisions, warning that societal fragmentation could lead to harm and injustice.
The three-day celebration, organized by the Ram Temple Trust, includes a series of cultural and religious events. Approximately 110 VIPs and members of the public who missed last year’s ceremony are participating in the festivities.
