**Rajkot, India:** India Women’s cricket team set a new national record, posting a mammoth 370/5 against Ireland Women in the second ODI at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Jemimah Rodrigues led the charge, smashing her maiden ODI century (102 off 91 balls) in a dominant display of batting.
Rodrigues and Harleen Deol (89) formed a crucial partnership, accelerating the scoring rate in the latter stages of the innings. Captain Smriti Mandhana (73) and Pratika Rawal (67) also made significant contributions to the record-breaking total, which surpasses India’s previous highest ODI score of 357, achieved against Ireland in 2017.
India’s impressive innings began with a strong powerplay, scoring 75 runs without loss.
