**Bengaluru, January 12, 2025** – CHRIST (Deemed to be University) hosted its annual Daksh and Open Day event on January 11th and 12th, attracting over 8,000 students, parents, and educators. The event, inaugurated by Rev. Viju P. Devassey, Pro Vice-Chancellor of CHRIST University, showcased the university’s diverse academic programs and cutting-edge infrastructure.
Over 120 interactive stalls represented CHRIST’s campuses across Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Pune-Lavasa, providing information on undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. Attendees also had access to personalized career counseling sessions. Dr. Joshil Raj, CEO of the Centre for Excellence in Design at IISc Bengaluru, served as the chief guest.
The event also included the Trailblaze Competitions, giving school students a platform to showcase their talents. Rev. Devassey emphasized the importance of education that fosters innovation and social responsibility beyond the classroom. The two-day event aimed to promote academic exploration and career guidance.
