Authorities uncovered evidence of sophisticated schemes, including one where three suspects posed as monks and astrologers to swindle victims. One suspect, a 25-year-old from Tonk district, reportedly received cyber fraud training in Sri Lanka.

The investigation resulted in the blocking of 135 bank accounts, 64 UPI IDs, and 20 ATMs. Six criminal cases have been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act. Police emphasized that elderly people and women were primary targets of these scams.
