**Dublin, Ireland:** Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana has etched her name in the record books once again. During India’s first ODI match against Ireland on Friday, she reached the 4000-run milestone in One Day Internationals (ODIs). Scoring 41 runs in the match, Mandhana achieved this feat in a remarkable 95 innings, surpassing former captain Mithali Raj’s record of 112 innings.
This makes Mandhana the fastest Indian woman cricketer to reach 4000 ODI runs. Globally, she is the third-fastest woman to achieve this milestone. While Australian cricketer Belinda Clark holds the overall record (86 innings), Mandhana’s achievement underscores her exceptional batting prowess.
Mandhana currently holds the second position in the list of highest run-scorers for India in ODIs with 4001 runs, trailing only Mithali Raj (7805 runs). Her latest accomplishment adds another feather to her already impressive cap, solidifying her status as one of India’s leading women cricketers.
