**Hyderabad, India –** Dr. YS Abhishek Reddy (36), a close cousin of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, passed away on Friday afternoon. He succumbed to a prolonged illness at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) in Hyderabad, where he had been receiving treatment for several days. His condition reportedly deteriorated, leading to his death around 3 PM.
Dr. Reddy had been battling health issues for some time, undergoing treatment at various hospitals. His condition did not improve, and he was transferred to AIG on December 13, 2024, where he received intensive care until his passing. Further details regarding the cause of death have not yet been released.
