Sat Jan 11 16:09:46 UTC 2025: **Ayodhya to Celebrate Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Anniversary on January 11th**

AYODHYA, INDIA – The one-year anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be celebrated on January 11th, 2025, not on January 22nd, the date of the original ceremony in 2024. The discrepancy is due to the Hindu Panchang (calendar), with the anniversary falling on the Poush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi tithi this year.

Celebrations will run from January 11th to 13th, featuring a series of events across five designated locations. The main ceremony will begin at 12:20 PM on January 11th with an abhishek (ritual bath) and aarti (prayer ritual) for Ram Lalla. Over 1975 mantras will be chanted to Agni Deva (the fire god) between 8 AM to 11 AM and 2 PM to 5 PM, accompanied by the recitation of Ram Raksha Stotra and Hanuman Chalisa six lakh times.

Additional events include devotional music offerings (rag seva) from 2 PM to 5 PM, celebratory songs in front of Ram Lalla from 6 PM to 9 PM, and a three-day musical recitation of the Manas (epic poem) at the visitor center. Lectures on Lord Rama’s life will be held at Angad Tila during the day, with cultural programs in the evenings. Prasad (holy food) distribution will commence on the morning of January 11th.

The 2024 ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While this year’s event will not feature such high-profile attendance, organizers anticipate large crowds.
