**New Delhi, India –** Xiaomi has officially launched its latest tablet, the Pad 7, in India, boasting significant upgrades over its predecessor. The device features a stunning 11.2-inch 3K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Powering the Pad 7 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and running on Android 15-based HyperOS 2. A large 8,850mAh battery with 45W fast charging keeps it running.
Camera capabilities include a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. AI features such as writing tools, live subtitles, and Xiaomi Creation are also integrated.
The Pad 7 starts at ₹26,999 (approximately $325 USD) for the 8GB+128GB variant, rising to ₹29,999 (approximately $360 USD) for the 12GB+256GB model, and ₹31,999 (approximately $385 USD) for the 12GB+256GB variant with a nanotexture display. A ₹1,000 bank discount is applicable. Sales begin January 13th on Amazon, Mi.com, and retail stores.
Xiaomi is also offering a backlit keyboard with a touchpad (₹4,999 or approximately $60 USD, available in February) and a Focus Pen stylus (₹5,999 or approximately $72 USD, available January 13th). The keyboard promises a PC-like experience, while the stylus boasts ultra-low latency and 8192 pressure sensitivity levels. Both accessories are sold separately.
