**TIRUPATI, Andhra Pradesh (January 10, 2025)** – Vaikunta Ekadashi, a significant religious festival for Vaishnavas, saw millions of devotees thronging temples across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana today. The auspicious day, marking the Sun’s entry into Uttarayanam during the holy Dhanurmasa month, is believed to bring blessings to those who visit Vishnu temples.
Tirumala Venkateswara Temple witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with chants of “Govinda” echoing throughout the premises. To manage the crowds, special queue lines were implemented at prominent temples like Dwaraka Tirumala, Annavaram, and Simhachalam. Similarly, in Telangana, temples like Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Bhadrachalam Rama Temple experienced a massive influx of devotees seeking Uttar Dwaar Darshan (viewing of the deity through the north gate), a ritual believed to bestow spiritual merit.
