**New Orleans, LA** – The New Orleans Saints will conduct their first head coaching interview this Wednesday with Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, multiple sources report. The interview will be conducted remotely, in accordance with NFL regulations.
Weaver, who just completed his first season leading the Dolphins’ defense, brings significant NFL experience to the table. Prior to Miami, he spent three years as the Ravens’ defensive line coach and assistant head coach. He also boasts prior coordinator experience with the Houston Texans.
Weaver’s potential is clearly recognized; the Chicago Bears have also requested an interview with him for their own head coaching opening. The Saints are also expected to interview Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn this week.
