NEW DELHI, January 9, 2025 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) held in December 2024. Candidates can access their results on the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in, using their roll number.
The results were released on January 9th, 2025, and the qualifying marks vary depending on the category. General category candidates needed a minimum of 60% (90 out of 150), while OBC, SC, ST, and PwD candidates needed 55% (82.5 out of 150).
The CTET certificate is now valid for life and will be available digitally on DigiLocker and the Umang app. Candidates can download their certificates and mark sheets using their registered mobile numbers. The CBSE has clarified that there will be no re-evaluation or rechecking of results.
The CTET is a mandatory qualifying examination for individuals seeking teaching positions in central government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, and many private schools also consider CTET scores during recruitment.
