**Hyderabad, January 10, 2025** – The Telangana State government will launch four significant people-centric schemes on January 26th, Republic Day, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced Friday. While the schemes represent a substantial financial commitment, the government, following extensive consultations, has prioritized their implementation to benefit the poor.
The schemes will be rolled out with the assistance of village-level Indiramma committees, already established by the government. In-charge ministers from the erstwhile undivided districts will collaborate with these committees to select beneficiaries for various programs, including Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, and Indiramma Illu. Lists of beneficiaries will be publicly displayed in villages.
The government will issue comprehensive guidelines for the scheme implementation, emphasizing transparent beneficiary selection. Officials are also tasked with ensuring public awareness of the government’s ₹22,000 crore farm loan waiver. Mr. Vikramarka made the announcement during a conference of district collectors.
