**Thrissur, Kerala:** Renowned Malayalam playback singer P. Jayachandran passed away at the age of 80 in Thrissur on [Date]. He had been hospitalized for nine days due to an undisclosed illness, having been discharged yesterday only to be readmitted this evening. His body is currently at the mortuary. A public viewing will be held at his Poonkkulam residence tomorrow until noon, followed by the funeral at his ancestral home in Chengamanagalam the day after.
