**Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh:** A 52-year-old woman from Palakkad, Kerala, died in the massive rush at the Tirupati temple on Tuesday. Nirmala, a resident of Vellaramkalmedu, Vannathara, was part of a six-member family group visiting the temple for Vaikuntha Ekadashi. She succumbed to injuries sustained during the overcrowding while attempting to obtain a token for darshan. Relatives confirmed her death and are currently working to bring her body back to Kerala. Six people in total perished in the incident.
