**Washington, D.C. (The Hindu) –** Republican Congressman Andy Biggs has reintroduced legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives aiming to revoke Pakistan’s status as a major non-NATO ally. The bill, which has been reintroduced in every Congress since 2019, requires the President to certify Pakistan’s continued cooperation in disrupting the Haqqani Network’s operations within its borders and its collaboration with the Afghan government to restrict militant movement along the Afghan-Pakistani border.
